What to photograph before a junk-removal quote

Useful photos help a hauling crew understand your items and access. They are a starting point for the conversation, not a guaranteed final quote.

Take a wide view

Photograph the whole pile or room from a few angles. Good light and an unobstructed view make the amount easier to understand. Include an approximate count and dimensions for large pieces in your message.

Show the special items

Take separate pictures of large furniture, appliances, electronics, and unusually heavy or bulky objects. Describe the item type and condition. Confirm any special handling or item-specific charge with the provider.

Show how the crew will get there

Add pictures of stairs, narrow hallways, doors, or the route to the loading area. Describe parking and elevator requirements. Never include entry codes or keys in public posts.

Protect your privacy

Move personal papers and payment information out of view. Avoid showing people, license plates, or unrelated belongings. Send photos directly to the business rather than posting them publicly.

Add the details a photo cannot show

Include your city or ZIP code, whether anything is still attached or needs preparation, and your preferred timing. ClearTech can discuss the scope and availability with you before agreeing to a pickup.
